VIA LYDENBURG: (6.00 - 06.30 hours)
As from Johannesburg airport you take the N12 to Witbank and Belfast, turn left to Belfast and take the R 540 in the direction of Dullstroom and Lydenburg. From Lydenburg you take the R 36 in the direction of Tzaneen/ Hoedspruit.
You drive past Orighstad and through the Strijdomd tunnel. After the tunnel (circa 14 km) you turn left in the direction of Tzaneen (R36) After 10 kilometres you turn right onto the R526 in the direction of Mica. After another 28km you arrive in Mica and turn left on the R40 to Phalaborwa.
About 27 km further on, follow the sign Grietjie, turn right onto the gravel track to Grietjie. Follow the signs to Casart Game Lodge (about 9 km). Welcome to Casart Game Lodge.
VIA POLOKWANE ( highway - Toll raod) (6.00 - 06.30 hours)
As from Johannesburg airport you take R 21 to Pretoria and than you follow N1 to Polokwane. From Polokwane you take R 71 to Tzaneen and from Tzaneen you follow R 71 to Mica. (via Gravelotte). From Gravelotte you go straight on via R 40 to Mica. From Gravelotte it takes 35 kilometers to the T - junction with the R 530. There you turn left to Phalaborwa . About 20 km further on, follow the sign Grietjie, turn right onto the gravel track to Grietjie. Follow the signs to Casart Game Lodge (about 9 km). Welcome to Casart Game Lodge.
